I am a multidisciplinary designer focused on interaction, web, 3D, and user experience. I believe that good design is scaffolded by sound collaboration, solid research, constant curiosity, and a holistic consideration for everyone and everything affected by it.
In 2020, while working as a frontend developer, I made the decision to transition into design. Now, I am a Master of Graphic & Experience Design student at North Carolina State University. I am also working as a designer/researcher on Scale Worlds: a collaborative project between educators, designers, and engineers.
Previously, I obtained a BS in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, worked as a web developer, and spent 27 months teaching in Tanzania as a Peace Corps Volunteer. In my free time I enjoy distance running, recording electronic and folk music, and exploring the great outdoors.
